Our dyeing process is consistent; however, each yarn batch receives a unique dye lot number. Variations between dye lots can range from subtle to significant, especially with variegated yarns. Dye lot numbers are crucial for grouping skeins for packaging after quality inspection. These skeins are then bagged in groups of five or ten, based on yarn type, and shipped to stores where they may be separated onto different shelves, making the dye lot code valuable for matching skeins.

Regrettably, we cannot track which stores receive specific dye lots, making it challenging to locate matching dye lot skeins later.
