To ensure uniformity in your project, make sure to purchase enough yarn initially, as each batch has its own dye lot and variations can occur between skeins, even those within the same package. For a consistent color effect, work from two balls of yarn, alternating a few rows from each.
Our dyeing process is consistent; however, each yarn batch can show variations. These differences between dye lots can be slight or quite distinct, especially in variegated yarns. Once our quality control team approves the skeins, they are labeled and packaged in groups of five or ten, based on the yarn type. However, upon reaching retail locations, skeins may be separated and placed on different shelves.
Keep in mind, the colors displayed in photographs serve as a guide; due to the hand-dyeing process, actual yarn colors may vary slightly.
