To maintain color consistency in your project, make sure to purchase enough yarn at once, as each batch has its own dye lot, and variations can occur between skeins within the same package. For an even color spread, alternate knitting or crocheting a few rows from two balls of yarn.
We apply the same dye formula across all batches, yet variations can occur between dye lots, ranging from subtle to quite distinct, particularly in variegated yarns. Following a thorough quality inspection, skeins are labeled and packaged in groups of five or ten, depending on the yarn. However, once delivered to retail outlets, skeins may be dispersed across various sections, necessitating the use of dye lot numbers for matching.
